2021 CIE/USA-DFW MathComp & MathFun

We continue serving the community and stimulate young students’ interest in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM). This year, the event will be using an online platform and will bring a new experience by using a proctor system for the Math Competition.

Each year, the event attracts nearly 1,000 participants including students, parents, educators, and volunteers. This event consists of four programs:

  1. Math Competition
  2. Math Fun Session
  3. Parenting Seminar
  4. Awards Ceremony

Math Fun

This event is open for everyone and it is FREE!
Math Fun is an interactive program which encourages children to solve engineering quizzes and games.
We will host a Zoom Meeting which will have many breakout rooms. Each room will have Fun Masters who will host the quizzes and fun games.

In 2020, we had Kahoot games, Jeopady, Set Card, Sodoku and much more!
We will bring them back again.

Parenting Seminar & Awards Ceremony

These events are FREE and open to everyone: All parents, educators, MCMF participants or guests!

According to a study, “STEM starts Early: Grounding Science, Technology, Engineering and Math Education in Early Childhood”, students who take part in math competitions are steered towards science careers. Our seminars are designed to provide parents insight into STEM education and opportunities.
