Affiliate Event: 1st Micro-Movie Competition (MMC) on Emerging Environmental Topics among our Society

Environmental pollution is a critical issue affecting the quality of our air, water, soil, and ecosystem. The solution to this problem relies on public awareness of the related issues and technologies. The goal of this “Micro-Movie (微電影)” competition is to have our junior members to observe, record, and share their understandings, in a way of new generation media.

ONLINE: 2020 CIE/USA-DFW Young Achiever Award

Young Achiever Award (YAA) promotes and recognizes exceptional academic excellence in STEM, and active involvement of extra-curricular activities and community services of the youths. The award is to recognize students of 10th and 11th grade with top academic achievements at school, outstanding engineering and science accomplishments, demonstrated leadership and active involvement of community services. The award will be presented at the CIE/USA-DFW 2020 Annual Convention. Tentative: August 08, 2020.

ONLINE: 2020 CIE/USA-DFW Community Resilience Scholarship

In response to the unprecedented impact that COVID-19 has had on communities across the globe, CIE/USA-DFW has decided to sponsor the CIE Community Resilience Scholarship for eligible students this year. Each selected applicant will be awarded a $300 scholarship. CRS recognizes students and their families who have experienced profound impact, provided special inspiration, or have gone above and beyond to help fight COVID-19 or support the community.
This can include student contributions/experience or students who have immediate family members that include a First Responder such as policeman, firefighter, paramedic/medical professional or other related fields. The award will be presented at the CIE/USA-DFW 2020 Annual Convention. Tentative: August 08, 2020
