2017 CIE/USA-DFW Spring Technology Symposium

The CIE/USA-DFW Chapter is pleased to present the 2017 Spring Technical Symposium “Smart City, Smart Health” on Saturday April 8th, 2017, from 12:30PM to 5:30PM at TI Auditorium at The University of Texas at Dallas (UTD). This event is co-hosted by CIE-DFW Chapter, IEEE Dallas Section and The University of Texas at Dallas. Admission is free, but advance registration is required.
The 2017 CIE/IEEE/UTD Spring Technical Symposium “Smart City, Smart Health” aims on exchanging ideas, best practices and technical innovations in the field of smart cities and smart health. Two key areas of interest in this symposium include:
§1. Novel applications of technology to improve quality of life of residents living in urban areas to support a strong and healthy economic, social and cultural development.
§2. Novel technologies that support improvement of healthcare infrastructure and services, and wearable/implantable technologies that improve physiological data acquisition and/or assistance to the disabled individuals.
Six executives and experts from high-tech companies and research institutions around the Dallas area will present topics in these fields and their innovations, applications and challenges. Panel discussion will follow immediately after the presentation.
Parking Information
Please be sure to park only in the GREEN zone inside the UTD campus (violators could be ticketed). We encourage our participants to park in the PS4 parking building in which GREEN zone is located on the 5th floor.
