  • 2013 CIE/USA-DFW Annual Convention

    The annual convention is a celebration of the services that CIE/USA-DFW has delivered to the DFW community, and to affirm the partnership we have with industry, universities, government and community in which our members live and work. CIE/USA takes great pride of its 96 years of history, serving and representing the community of engineers of Chinese cultural heritage. As a non-profit professional organization, CIE/USA plays an important role in our economy and our society, especially with the growing needs for business savvy skilled workers in the field of engineering and science.

  • 2013 CIE/USA-DFW Young Achiever Awards

    The Young Achiever Award (YAA) is a CIE\'s traditional charter of encouraging the young generation of our CIE members to achieve excellence in academic performance; to participate in extracurricular activities and community services; and to develop leadership skills in early stage of their life. TheYAA program is designed to encourage them by recognizing those young students, who have demonstrated so far that they have exceeded in achieving these goals. This particular recognition has proven to be very beneficial to the YAA recipients in their applications to university entrance and also as a good credential record for their career and life. The YAA Committee of CIE/USA DFW is now accepting applications, and its deadline of application is June 17th, 2013.

    The event is to help professionals who are interested in understanding of cloud and current trends, and who want to jumpstart their career and practice in cloud computing.     The 2014 CIE/USA-DFW 25th Anniversary Convention is a three-day event featuring an International Technology Symposium, VIP Reception, Dinner Banquet and Energy Executive Forum. The Convention will be held from August 15 to 17, 2014 at Renaissance Dallas Richardson Hotel (900 E. Lookout Dr, Richardson, Texas 75082, USA).

  • 2014 CIE/USA-DFW 25th Anniversary Fall Technical Symposium

    The symposium is held in conjunction with the Annual Convetion and will gather seventeen experts in the field of big data, internet of (every)things, energy systems, smart grid and leadership to discuss the current emerging technology and soft skills. The symposium will feature a keynote session, and three parallel sessions on \"Smart Data\", \"Smart Energy\" and \"Leadership & Career Development\". The symposium is free and open to the public, but registration is required. The symposium will be held at Renaissance Richardson Hotel from 1:00 to 5:30 pm.
