2012 CIE/USA-DFW Engineering Business Forum

Maribelle Davis Library 7501-B Independence Pkwy, Plano

The Chinese Institute of Engineers - DFW Chapter (CIE-DFW) and the Greater Dallas Asian American Chamber of Commerce (GDAACC) will host the 2012 Engineering Business Forum at the Maribelle Davis Library, 7501 Independence Parkway, Plano, Texas on Friday November 16, 2012. The forum is free and open to the public. The event will begin at 12:30PM and conclude by 4:30PM. The forum seeks to connect minority owned small businesses with major corporate and government buyers who are in need of diversified procurement for engineering services and technology products. Anticipated participants at this year’s event include the U.S. Patent Office, Huawei, DISD, Trinity Infrastructure, Dallas Public Works and Transportation, Hartline Dacus Barger Dreyer LLP and more.

ONLINE: 2020 CIE/USA-DFW Community Resilience Scholarship

In response to the unprecedented impact that COVID-19 has had on communities across the globe, CIE/USA-DFW has decided to sponsor the CIE Community Resilience Scholarship for eligible students this year. Each selected applicant will be awarded a $300 scholarship. CRS recognizes students and their families who have experienced profound impact, provided special inspiration, or have gone above and beyond to help fight COVID-19 or support the community.
This can include student contributions/experience or students who have immediate family members that include a First Responder such as policeman, firefighter, paramedic/medical professional or other related fields. The award will be presented at the CIE/USA-DFW 2020 Annual Convention. Tentative: August 08, 2020
