• 2018 CIE/USA-DFW Youth English Speech Contest

    Collin College Spring Creek Campus 2800 E. Spring Creek Parkway, Plano, TX, United States
    The DFW Youth English Speech Contest will be held on Saturday, June 30, 2018 at the Collin College Conference Center. Registration is open until June 23, 2018. All students from grade 1 to grade 12 are welcome.

    The Annual MathComp/MathFun event and Parenting Seminar are the flagship events of the CIE/USA-DFW Chapter\'s youth program. Each year, they attract nearly 1,000 participants including students, parents, educators, and volunteers. This grand math fair consists of three programs: (1) a math competition, (2) a math fun fair, and (3) a parenting seminar. The goal is to stimulate young students\' interest in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) subjects.

    The 2019 DFW Youth English Speech Contest is a CIE-sponsored event. It is a unique opportunity for youths to initiate, research, write, and deliver an address to public audience. Volunteers of Texas Dragon Toastmasters Club will organize the contest. Experienced trained judges will judge all levels of competition. Students in grades 1 to 12 are invited to participate.
  • 2019 CIE/USA-DFW Young Achiever Award

    Young Achiever Award (YAA) promotes and recognizes exceptional academic excellence in STEM, and active involvement of extra-curricular activities and community services of the youths. The award is to recognize students of 10th and 11th grade with top academic achievements at school, outstanding engineering and science accomplishments, demonstrated leadership and active involvement of community services. The award will be presented at the CIE/USA-DFW 2019 Annual Convention evening banquet at Renaissance Dallas at Plano Legacy West Hotel on Friday August 16, 2019.
